Route Information: Chew Valley to Lynmouth
Miles to cycle: 67.2 miles
Altitude to climb: 3775 ft

Day Summary
We leave Chew Valley south and down the incredibly splendid Cheddar Gorge hill, having climbed it in 2013, the ride down should prove equally challenging during the final descent part near the village. After that, much of the day is spent heading west into Somerset, which really does herald the start of the end for our journey.

We head into Exmoor National Park towards Lynmouth. At the moment, the planned route is keeping us off the main A39 using side roads, however the end of the day will see us facing a huge 1000ft climb. Some local knowledge welcomed here if the A39 is cycle friendly into Lynmouth, or if we are better staying on side roads.
